"Half-Tone Hen" came about when playing with different textures and exploring techniques to represent one-colour images in interesting ways.

(We're also unintentionally starting a "common birds looking really regal" collection which now includes this chicken plus our favourite Seagull.)

Our tea towels prints are created from Nick's original photography and transferred onto silk screens for printing.

We print all our tea towels by hand in our home studio.

Made from a 100% plain-woven cotton. The towels have a 4-sided hem and hanger loop in the corner. Towel measures approximately 25.5 x 17.5”. All Blackhare tea towels are hand printed in our home studio in Toronto using eco-friendly, water-based inks.
