Mel's Tea Room has been a landmark in our small town of Sackville, NB for over a century. First opened up in 1919 by Mel Goodwin, the diner began its life as a fruit and ice cream parlour and, over the years, evolved into one of the most beloved 50s style diners in southern New Brunswick. Sadly, despite the most recent owners' best efforts, Mel's fell victim to a series of unfortunate events, and has shut its doors for good as of fall 2022.
These tees are a homage to this now historical landmark, featuring one of the most recognizable (soon to be past) features of Sackville's downtown - the iconic Mel's diner sign.
Half of the proceeds of the sale from this tee go to helping the family/past owners recover from losing the business.
-Hand printed with water-based inks for a detailed and durable print that won't crack or peel over time.
-Super soft feel with a relaxed fit, slightly tailored at the waist, with flattering fitted sleeves.

Our unisex style tees are made with the softest CVC or triblend fabrics. Due to Covid-related inventory shortages, we often have to mix and match between fabric blends. But all sizing is the same.
CVC - 60% cotton, 40% polyester
Triblend - 50% polyester, 25% Airlume combed ringspun cotton, 25% rayon. - Pre-washed to reduce shrinkage. Machine wash, tumble dry low.

We've built our brand on the amazing fit and feel of our tees. That's because we only print on premium fabrics that are super soft, hold a nice, flattering fit without being too tight or boxy, and won't get stretched out or pill after repeated washes and wears.
All of our tees are hand printed in our home studio in Sackville, New Brunswick on a four screen printing press. We use only eco-friendly, water-based inks for our designs, which tends to give our graphics a slightly transparent, vintage feel.
