Mel's Tea Room has been a landmark in our small town of Sackville, NB for over a century. First opened up in 1919 by Mel Goodwin, the diner began its life as a fruit and ice cream parlour and, over the years, evolved into one of the most beloved 50s style diners in southern New Brunswick. Sadly, despite the most recent owners' best efforts, Mel's fell victim to a series of unfortunate events, and has shut its doors for good as of fall 2022.
These tees are a homage to this now historical landmark, featuring one of the most recognizable (soon to be past) features of Sackville's downtown - the iconic Mel's diner sign.

Our women's style tees are made with the softest CVC or triblend fabrics. Due to Covid-related inventory shortages, we often have to mix and match between fabric blends. But all sizing is the same.
*XS in this colour is a solid black
**S-2XL is a heather, dark charcoal
CVC - 60% cotton, 40% polyester
Triblend - 50% polyester, 25% Airlume combed ringspun cotton, 25% rayon.
XS is a solid black.
Washing and Care
Washing and Care
- Pre-washed to reduce shrinkage.
- Machine wash, tumble dry low
- Wash inside out to maintain longest-lasting ink quality

Our women's tees are generally true to size with a relaxed fit, with tailored sleeves and slightly tapered waistline. We recommend choosing your regular size for a comfy fit, but if you are in between sizes, you could go either way depending on how loose you prefer your fit, or whether you prefer a shorter or longer tee.
Our tees are measured one inch below the arm hole for width and from crew neck hem to bottom hem for length.
